Our structure keeps leadership close to the work. With fewer layers between our clients, project teams and company leadership, decisions happen quickly, communication stays direct and problems get solved.

Our Story

Built Differently From the Beginning

Neuroth Construction was founded in 2020 by Rob Neuroth, a U.S. Army veteran with more than a decade of hands-on construction experience, on a simple belief: construction companies often grow more layers than they need, and those layers get in the way. Decisions slow down. Communication gets diluted. Clients end up talking to someone three steps removed from the people actually doing the work.

We were built to work differently. We keep leadership close to the job site and maintain a direct line between the people making decisions and the people doing the work. That approach shaped our first projects, and it still shapes how we operate today.

As Neuroth Construction has grown to more than 25 employees, we’ve worked intentionally to protect the qualities that defined the company from day one: accessible leadership, direct communication, quality work and people who take ownership of what they do. That culture is grounded in service—a commitment to supporting our clients, investing in our people and giving back to the communities where we live and work.

We believe the best projects are built by strong teams. That means giving our people responsibility, trusting them to solve problems and creating opportunities for them to grow. It also means developing lasting relationships with our clients and trade partners based on transparency and follow-through.

Rob Neuroth

President & CEO

Robert Neuroth

Rob Neuroth is President and CEO of Neuroth Construction. He got his start in construction working as a framer before joining the U.S. Army, where he later served in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. After his military service, Rob returned to construction as a laborer while earning his degree in Construction Management from San Diego State University. He went on to hold roles across field operations and project management, contributing to more than $1 billion in construction projects before founding Neuroth Construction. Today, Rob leads the company’s continued growth across public and private sector markets. His leadership approach is grounded in accountability, service and trust—staying close to the work, giving people real responsibility and building strong teams that take pride in delivering for their clients.

Alan Goecke

Alan Goecke

Director of Construction

Alan Goecke

Alan Goecke serves as Director of Construction for Neuroth Construction, providing technical and operational leadership across project delivery. A civil engineer by training, Alan brings more than eight years of construction experience spanning field operations and project management. Prior to joining Neuroth, he served as a Superintendent and Project Manager for a self-performing civil contractor, delivering federal, public works and infrastructure projects. Today, Alan oversees field execution, scheduling, resource allocation, project management and quality control, bringing hands-on experience in civil construction, utilities, earthwork, concrete and site development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University.

Megan Wookey

Director of People & Operations

Megan Wookey

As Director of People & Operations, Megan Wookey leads human resources, compliance and back-office operations at Neuroth Construction, building the systems and processes that support the company’s people, projects and continued growth. She brings a decade of experience building operations for high-growth companies, most recently serving as Chief of Staff at Superhuman. At Neuroth, Megan is focused on creating scalable, efficient systems that allow project teams to focus on what they do best: building. She is equally committed to creating a culture where talented people can do their best work and grow their careers—and helping make Neuroth the kind of contractor that clients and partners want to work with again. Megan is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Joseph Sarapochillo

Joseph Sarapochillo

Senior Project Executive

Joseph Sarapochillo

Joe Sarapochillo serves as Senior Project Executive for Neuroth Construction, bringing more than 30 years of construction and construction management experience to the team. His career includes executive leadership with SK Builders and extensive involvement in major public infrastructure and redevelopment efforts, including projects associated with the Oakland Army Base and Port of Oakland. Joe has managed complex projects and programs exceeding $250 million in value, coordinating owners, public agencies, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders. At Neuroth, he provides senior-level project leadership and guidance to project teams, drawing on decades of experience to navigate the complexities of large-scale public and private sector work.

Luis Flores

Luis Flores

Project Manager

Luis A. Flores Garcia

Luis A. Flores Garcia manages project delivery at Neuroth Construction, working closely with superintendents, field teams and trade partners to keep projects organized and moving forward. His responsibilities span project coordination, documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, scheduling and cost tracking from preconstruction through closeout. Luis brings experience in both construction management and specialized aquatic construction, giving him a strong understanding of field operations and project execution. Detail-oriented, reliable and proactive, he helps connect field and project teams, coordinate subcontractor workflows and ensure project requirements are addressed throughout each phase of construction. Luis is currently pursuing his construction degree at Palomar College.

Brenden Church

As IT & Systems Manager at Neuroth Construction, Brenden Church manages the technology and systems that support the company’s day-to-day operations and growing project portfolio. With a background in computer science, his expertise spans IT infrastructure, network and systems administration, cybersecurity and operational technology. At Neuroth, Brenden is focused on maintaining a secure, reliable technology environment that supports teams in the office and field. He also plays a key role in maintaining the company’s CMMC compliance and cybersecurity standards for federal contracting. Brenden holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Diego State University.

Alexandra Neuroth

As Co-Owner & Strategic Advisor, Alexandra Field supports Neuroth Construction’s leadership, operations and continued growth. A skilled communicator and relationship builder, she coordinates resources across projects and serves as a trusted point of contact for team members, clients and business partners. Prior to co-founding Neuroth Construction, Alexandra worked in the construction project management software industry and served as Senior Marketing Coordinator for Cushman & Wakefield in the Greater San Diego region. She holds a California real estate license and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Legal Advisor

Skyler Sanders

Skyler Sanders serves as Legal Counsel to Neuroth Construction, advising the company on legal matters related to construction, real estate and business operations. A construction and real estate attorney licensed in California and Idaho, he brings more than a decade of experience advising developers, contractors and lenders through all stages of a project and representing clients in state and federal court. Prior to his current practice, Skyler was an attorney with Parsons Behle & Latimer. He holds a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and a B.A. from Brigham Young University.

At Neuroth, Katherine supports company messaging, media relations, community and industry partnerships, and the pursuit of grant opportunities that align with the company’s growth. She brings experience across the public, private and nonprofit sectors and holds a bachelor's degree in political science from San Diego State University.
